Microsoft issue security patch for Access 2010 and 2007
Microsoft have released a security patch for Microsoft Access 2007 and 2010 which resolves a privately reported vulnerability in Microsoft Access.
The problem relates to maliciously crafted files which if opened could give an attacked the same rights to execute code as the locally logged in user.
There have been no reports of anyone being affected by this in practice.
If you have users who receive or download files from unknown sources you should apply this patch.
If you have automatic updates turned on you should have this patch applied automatically. Business users who apply updates manually
